Courses

The CILM professional designation connotes demonstrated core competencies in insurance litigation management. The foundation upon which to build these core competences is an understanding of the principles of insurance litigation.  Once a litigation manager understands the framework of the legal process, he can acquire the core competencies in management.  The first recommended course is therefore Insurance Litigation Principles.  The other courses are designed to build on the learning outcomes of that course. Once the foundation course is completed, all other courses may be taken in the order chosen by the participant.

Each course consists of:
  • Comprehensive workbook packages of professionally developed reading lessons and hands-on learning experiences by experts in the field are the foundation for all courses.
  • Multiple learning experience topics comprising an interactive series of readings and hands on applied learning exercises.
  • Interactive web-based teleconference learning sessions for each course that reinforce the learning experience, respond to questions and add depth to the course materials and facilitate networking and peer learning among colleagues.
